Kenji Ose
Kenji specialises in geospatial data analysis. He joined the JRC in 2024 to work on forest monitoring within the framework of EU regulations. Previously, he worked for French research institutes. At IRD (National Research Institute for Sustainable Development), he participated for 5 years in several projects related to tropical issues such as deforestation, emerging human diseases, etc. He then spent more than 10 years at INRAE (National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment), where he and his team developed remote sensing methods and services to meet the needs of French public policies, particularly in the forestry sector: clearcuts and forest dieback detection.
