Roberto Pilli

Education: Bachelor degree in History in 2015 (University of Padova), PhD in Forest Ecology in 2007 (University of Padova), Specialization course in Landscape planning, garden and park design in 2001 (University of Torino), graduated in Forest and environmental ecology in 1998 (University of Padova). Professional experience: employed by the Forest Service of the Veneto Region from 1999 to 2007, mainly dealing on forest management, hydraulic-forest interventions; management of forest pests and fire disturbances. Between 2009 and 2020 he was employed at the Joint Research Center, providing scientific and technical support on forest modeling for the LULUCF sector and the forest biomass assessment. He currently works on the same topics, as freelance scientific consultant.
