Corentin Bolyn

Corentin Bolyn

Corentin Bolyn is a forestry engineer working in remote sensing research. He studied the use of airborne LiDAR and satellite imagery to support forest management. Within the Joint Research Centre, he is now contributing to the integration of Earth Observation into forest-related policies and to the development of forest monitoring methodologies. Corentin holds a degree in Bioscience Engineering (Forest and Nature Management) from the University of Liège (Belgium). Before joining the JRC in 2021, he worked as a research assistant in the Forest Resource Management Unit of Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (University of Liège, Belgium).
