Selene Patani
I’m an environmental engineer with a PhD in hydraulic engineer achieved at Politecnico di Milano. My PhD research involved the development of an integrated and adaptable strategy based on data driven approaches and machine learning algorithms applied to non-linear dynamic systems, within the framework of subsurface characterization in industrial applications. I have worked for one year as software engineer before landing at JRC as data engineer and data scientist for the projects EU observatory on deforestation and forest degradation and EU bioeconomy monitoring system. My passions are nature, programming and artificial intelligence world.
