Klara Janouskova holds degree in Landscape planning and Environmental Science from the Czech Life Science University and another degree in International Relations from the University of Economics in Prague. After completing her studies she started traineeship at the JRC in European Soil Data Center. Since 2017 she has worked at the JRC’s Bio-Economy Unit as a GIS developer. She worked on monitoring tropical forests from satellite imagery for three years and in June 2020 she moved in the European forests team and she is operating with spatial data from local to Europe-wide scale.
