Anu Korosuo

Anu Korosuo

Anu Korosuo is a forest scientist focusing on carbon accounting and greenhouse gas inventories on the land use, land use change and forestry (LULUCF) sector. She has expertize also in multi-criteria forest planning and forest policy analysis, and prior working experience from Finland, Sweden, Austria and Chile. Before joining the JRC in June 2019, she worked for five years at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Austria, specializing in forest sector analysis and climate change mitigation scenarios. Anu holds a Ph.D. in forestry from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in UmeƄ, Sweden, and a M.Sc. in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Helsinki, Finland.
