Addlocale is a small program to add one of 84 non-English localizations to a PCLinuxOS system:

addlocale

Addlocale is available via the Synaptic package manager in PCLinuxOS.  Once installed, start addlocale from Start -> System -> Configuration -> Add Locale and follow the on-screen instructions.  Addlocale has the following features:

  • interactive interface to add one of 84 non-English localizations or to restore to the default English system language,
  • applicable to KDE4, KDE3, GNOME, XFCE, LXDE, Fluxbox, Openbox, etc. window manager,
  • up-to-date translations from PCLinuxOS and other Linux distributions
